The two pilots flew 110 miles past the Minneapolis-St. Paul airport told investigators that they were distracted by a discussion of a new crew-scheduling system. The two pilots had a lap top open in the cockpit and ignored all calls over the radio. Only when one of the three flight attendants, who were tending to 144 travelers, asked for an arrival time, did the pilots notice they were off track and re-adjusted their route.
